HOME OF GUTO PENTEADO

The origin of CanaCanadian
Combining creative concepts and client needs, I have written and designed a wide range of advertising pieces and directed several ad campaigns for a variety of target audiences in Canada and Brazil. I established CanaCanadian Communications thinking about those companies interested in approaching their customers in a different and creative way. The idea of naming my agency "CanaCanadian" comes from my Brazilian background. As a Brazilian-Canadian, I mixed these two cultures into a name that expresses creativity and flavours. “Cana” means sugarcane in Portuguese (yes, people speak Portuguese in Brazil). “Cana” is also a nickname for “Cachaça”, the most popular distilled alcoholic beverage in Brazil, made from sugarcane. This spirit is so powerful that it could make you smile without a reason. And that’s the spirit of CanaCanadian Communications, to send a powerful message to your clients and make them smile, but for lots of good reasons. CanaCanadian is a serious ad agency spiced up with easy-going Brazilian creativity.
